How do you teach a guinea pig tricks!?

I really really really wanna teach my 2 guinea pigs some tricks (i got them yesterday and they love cuddling with me already!!!) I thourght they would be scared of e that they love being handdeld!!
I love my piggies to death!! i have seen tricks on toutube that gps do like paw circel and stand up and i wanna tach my piggies that 2! I love my piggies so much and they have the most silkies and soft fur and they are very spoliet with food! lol before i got them i reserched them heaps so i no what to feed them and wat not to feed them!

I don't think they can learn tricks. They aren't that smart to tell you the truth. Even if they could learn trick, I think that they would be more content with their new owner on their lap. They are lazy and they don't like doing work. I love them to death and think that they are adorable but my piggies never learned tricks and they were very happy on my lap. I tried with them. You may have more luck then I did. Good luck though!

It's actually pretty easy you have to do it over and over and over - and show them how to do it acouple times and use a lot of treats. They really like carrots. Brib them and then they'll eventually just understand. That's how i got mine to go around in a circle.

Simply start with the "stand trick" please do not force or put pressure on your guinea pig/yelling at it if they don't do something correctly. They don't understand what they are doing wrong, and will become stressed and scared of you.
offer your guinea pig treats, such as carrots, lettuce, apples, grapes, etc. raise the treat above his/her head and hold your hand above their chest. They will use your hand as a resource to reach for the treat. And remember, read books, go online to ACCURATE sites, and DON'T ask alot of people about guinea pigs; some might not know correct feeding, caring, health and etc instructions to help you. Buy some books at meijers and ask an adult for permission to help you find a correct site on guineas. Good luck and PLEASE read guinea pig books alot so you know what to and NOT to feed them, how to care, how often the cage should be cleaned, how much attention and stress they do and don't need, etc. Good luck! P.s. I have 2 girl guineas; Muffin and Punkin, they are Sooooo fat and adorable!!! they have the shiniest fur, and get SOOO much treats, love, care and attention!!! They are SOOOO SPOILED!!!!!
