Been browsing through the Watchtower publication, "What Does the Bible Really...

...Teach?", and on page 217... ...it states that King Nebuchadnezzar's dream of a great tree being chopped down in Daniel 4:10-16, "..represents how God's rulership, as expressed through the kings at Jerusalem, would be interrupted", and "..the vision served notice that 'this trampling of Jerusalem' would be temporary - a period of 'seven times.'"

However, Daniel himself - in verses 20-26 - categorically states that the dream relates to KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR, and the period of "seven times" refers to his subsequent time of humiliation.

ABSOLUTELY NO MENTION OF Jerusalem being trampled for a period of 2,520 years.

What kind of distortion of God's word is this?

Where do these guys get this stuff?

Your thoughts, please?

If 1914 IS NOT the date of the begining of Endīs times , when the endīs times began? and why is that date? please using the bible.

If 1914 is not the date the endīs times began, why all the thing Jesus said in Matthew 24:3-14 began exactly after 1914?

7 times are 7 periods of 360 years appliying the rule of 1 day for 1 year.

Revelation 11:3 "2 But as for the courtyard that is outside the temple [sanctuary], cast it clear out and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. 3 And I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days dressed in sackcloth.” 4 These are [symbolized by] the two olive trees and the two lampstands and are standing before the Lord of the earth.

If 42 months or 3.5 years are 1260 days then 7 years that is exactly the double are 2520 days.

since 607 before christ until 1914 after christ were 2520 years or 7 times, 1914 is the year that began the Endīs times.

JEWS were ruled by God almighty, all the kings they had before 607 were set by Jehovah, but after that year nobody elese became king of the Godīs kingdom, not until 1914 when Jesus began to rule among his enemies as the bible says in Psalms 110:1-2.

In that year the world changed, history give the support of the asseveration of JWs , after 1914 this world began its destruction , 110 million people died in wars after that year, about 2 person per minute.

The world is cracking that is so obvious that even people who hate JWs canīt denied that we are in the endīs times , JWs know the date when that time began is not rare many people even know something as simple as "What date Jesus died" something that all JWs know that is in the bible but christianity denied that.

You do realize of course that the correct title of that publication is "Unauthoritative J.W. interpretations of what the Bible really teaches". That and two bucks will get you a cup of coffee.

My first thought is you must live in Utah, the Watchtower publications we get are about 5-10 pages long. Wow, 217 pages? And it took them 217 pages to ask what the Bible teaches?

Amazing.
