| Do you think ethics should be taught at schools? In my country of origin ethics used to be taught (as a separate course) as early as middle schools. That is no longer the case. However I do hear opinions that it would be useful to re-establish this once again. What do you think? If this was a separate course, what would you like others to learn? How would you organize it? Creative ideas are welcomed!

But surely there must be some things that are shared widely by various cultures. For example, if you're in the bus, a young person should give a seat to the older person. That's pretty universal, right?
Or, you could have a course about culture and ethics, where you would study a number of different approaches. That could be useful to learn about others. What do you think about that? |
