Should Americans really be worried about adults who teach kids that the...

...earth is only 6-10 thousand years old? I mean, won't this backfire when the smarter kids they're trying to brainwash grow up and discover that their teachers were nincumpoops?

I worry because I don't think we need all that many kids at the bottom rung of the education ladder. If they don't care about science, they really should get off on that vocational schooling branch sooner, rather than later, and stop beating their heads against a wall of fake science (but frankly, I don't think it ought to be the parents choice to feed them creationist or ID pap and claim they're getting their chance at science - it really just hobbles the child).

Actually, my siblings are home schooling their children to avoid some of the sick things currently being shoved down children's throats in public schools. Thus, their children score 1 to 2 grades higher than public school children. Hardly "nincumpoops,"[sic] but perhaps that's what you'd prefer for your children.

God bless!
