Teacher teach philosophy wrong.?

Ok, I read some answer to the question of how they teach in college, now, wouldn't it be wrong for them to go deeply in to other philosophers? I mean, I understand that it integrates a different way to look at life. But that's what I"m saying, if you integrate it, you accept it, and doesn't the world need invention? Different ideas? And not that of others? Yes, I'm not very knowleged in historical philosophers, but it just makes sense to not teach new seekers of past views, allittle bit yes, but not alot.
