I was raised Pentecostal/Apostolic and Im 17, I am starting to realize...

...that most of wut I have been taught.... really doesnt make sense. Im not really asking a question but more like venting...what do you think??

I'm one of the 'old guys' here. So let that old age give you some perspective. Me and most of my generation would have to say that we look back on our years between, say 16 and 24, as not our best. You'll be amazed to one day that wisdom really does come with age. Hang in there while things are tough. Pray, ask for help from others. You'll be glad that you did.

im also pentecostal, but 16...and some things really dont make ne sence to me, but hey...i wanna go to heaven... so i try not to think about it to much...

17 sounds like the perfect age to start investigating for yourself...

[edit] As an atheist, I can't really claim that I think prayer would be helpful... but I do think that in addition to reading books on the subject and talking to members of different faiths, there is value in silence... Be still, pray if you want to, but just think about the question honestly.
