Can you teach me how to cook chicken?

I am the worst cook, I have chicken to cook, cut into strips. I want to cook it on my stove, in a frying pan with maybe olive oil and some spices. I am going to cut it up and add it to some macaroni and cheese I bought at an Italian Market. Can someone tell me how to do it, step by step. Thank you so much for you help!!

Just put some olive oil into your pan, put the spices on it, fry it and there you are. You could also cut it up before frying, just which ever you'd prefer. Hope it turns out good!

When cooking chicken breast (I assume that is what you have) you have to be aware that it is very low in fat. The problem with that is that it can dry out very quickly. The trick with cooking chicken is to do it quickly, so that it doesn't dry out (that is much less of a problem when cooking a fattier piece like the thigh). Anyway, heat up the pan on medium-high. In the mean time, add your spices to your chicken and your salt. Add the oil once the pan is hot, right before you add the chicken. Olive oil burns really quickly that's why you can't put it in too early. Add the chicken quickly to avoid this problem. Quick on both sides for like a minute (here, you will have to use your best judgment because it will depend on the size of you chicken pieces). Once they get some nice browning, cut into one of the pieces to make sure that there is no more pink. As soon as their is no more pink you are done. Don't cook any longer because you will only cook out the juices. Good luck!

add olive oil to a frying pan, add minced garlic and lightly brown, add crushed tamatoes, celery, green and yellow pepper cut in small peices. Add chicken cut up, salt and pepper to taste. Let this all simmer for about 20min or so. Add this on top of your macaroni and grate some cheese over it. Some wine and your done!

There's nothing to it. Just cook it at a nice high heat long enough on both sides. Spices will make it tasty.

Please take my quiz:

Maybe I'm too late here. But my favorite:
1 box Kellog's corn flake crums OR bread crumbs
2 eggs
Veg oil for frying

Dip your strips into the beaten egg to coat, then coat in the crumbs.
Using a skillet with hot veg oil, carefully place several strips in the hot oil and fry until crispy brown, turn occasionally so the strips fry evenly. Remove and dry on paper towels.

They are very easy and delicious.
