TheChad has a spectacular aura about
Teachers who teach in middle school or high school answer?

I am very interested in Ancient History and there is really no job the involves taking this as my major in college accept to teach it in a high school or something. So I thought I would ask some teachers some questions about your job:

1) Do you get paid well? (I know I here teachers complaining about their pay all the time but I looked up the starting pay for my area in California and they start out at $39,000 a year, which I find to be great pay considering how much time I would get off)

2) Does the time off help out with your home life and family and such?

3) Does grading papers take a lot of your time at home?

4) What kind of school functions and activities are you required to participate in?

5) Also I was thinking about after becoming a teacher to get my another degree in Fitness to be a personal trainer, so I could make some more money at night. Would this be possible or is there not enough time?

appreciate all your answers, thank you.
6) also, is it hard to get a job as a teacher, so in 4 years.
