how do i teach my dog to dance?

i hold a treat in the air and sumtimes she stannds on her hign legs to get it, but then when i'm holding a treat in my fist behind my back so she doesnt see it and say dance, she thinks i mean go get the treat as if i say "ok". i tried holding a toy up there as well, but she doesnt really try to get it, and if she does, she goes up on her hign legs and right back down again, or she will jump for it. how can i get my dog to stand on her hign legs when i say dance without her think i mean ok, go get the treat?

i hope this makes sense, lol...
sumtimes she falls down cuz she cant keep her balance. will she in time learn to balance better? or do sum dogs never be able to learn this?
my puppy graduated from puppy pre-school (obedience class for puppies, the first level) and the next level is too late for me and a bit too expensive. so obedience class isnt an option.....
