To fashion majors that transfered to FIT (Fashion Institute Technology), what

school(s) did you transfer from? I'm currently taking fashion design courses at the community college in California. Since I want to transfer to FIT in New York, I'm just concerned about how many credits the school will accept from other colleges.

I've heard that some schools don't accept credits from transfer students or that the courses aren't transferable because the school wants to make them stay.

I went to talk to the school counselors about this and they don't know how many credits I can transfer to FIT, so I have to wait until they can give me the answers.

If you're a fashion design major who has transfered to FIT, what school did you transfer from (is it a private or public college) and how many credits did that school accept as transferring courses?
