It is harder to find a job in any field when you are 50. Just have your resume go back 10 or 15 years, no further so you get an interview. Also apply for civil service jobs, the more experience, the more likely you are to get the job so you can show all your experience. www.usajobs.gov or your state civil service. Your resume for a federal job should be 5-6 pages including any courses and every single job you had, they rate the application as a test and the more training and work, the better.
