We are planning a festival of 5,000. What check in system and technology should we

use? Implement bar codes? It has been suggested that at some expos, the attendees are mailed a card with a bar code on it and they are easily and swiftly checked in and no lines are caused. How would we implement such a system? What are the components? Is there a better alternative?
