| Is this =4GHZ? AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-60 (2.0
GHz, 512KB+512KB L2 Cache )? I'm looking at a laptop I just bought, HP Pavilion dv6700z series, and the sales lady said with this selected processor: AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-60 (2.0 GHz, 512KB+512KB L2 Cache ) I would be getting a total speed of around 4.0GHZ. Is that true? Does that make sense considering if its a Dual Processesor so 2.0*2 =4? I imagine it would because I have a laptop I bought in 2006 thats 2.0GHZ now, and if processor speeds haven't doubled in 2 years than hmmmm. Is there a difference between Dual Core and the Core Duo like on my Dell now from 2006? Thank you! |
