Will Heaven be upgraded to reflect todays technology?

Your thoughts? with all the advancements in technology ,will we get to enjoy these in Heaven?
i know it sounds like a silly question but the Bible tells of gold and jewels and stuff in heaven, was John not able to foretell the coming technology??
