Help, People with technology skills!?

Ok i am NO good at technology and don't understand it so please be as specific as you can and don't use technical names please!

you know the place where you type in what website you want to go on?It's below where it says Help,People with tech.......in blue

well whenever i type in www.answers.yahoo.com it comes up with things like:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_ylt=Akef1Xxan0f8oXiwsPC9GoDpy6IX;_ylv=3?link=ask &title=&x=53&y=11

when ever i type in answers.yahoo.com how do i get that to go away?? I have tried putting my mouse arrow thingy over it and pressing delete and backspace, I have tried deleting cookies please help me!! if you don't know don't answers and say idk or i don't know etc........
