Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Accessories Design?

I am a high school senior and I was accepted into FIT's Accessories Design program. Any info on it? I read about required internships, but is it hard to find a job in this career? About how many students enroll in this program each year?
I am prepared for it, but are the supplies required very costly?
Any well known designers graduate from Acc. Design?
Please inform me about anything I should know before I begin in the fall.
