Is our (so called) advancement in technology destroying the planet?

They want to build more buildings to do research, but it isn't really going to help. Espcially when their wasting billions of dollars. That money could go to something more promising.

The answer is no.
By definition technology means application of science for improvement of quality of life. It is application of science for betterment of life.
Technology cannot destroy planet earth.
Abuse of science can harm planet earth.

No... if it was.... well... some things need to be sacrificed including some environmental benefits. Technology is better then no technology.

Earth is worth near to nothing without intelligent life.
