Your question is too open-ended. There are many types of technology involved in the design, construction, and operation of nuclear power plants. Do you mean reactor systems, control systems, structural systems, crew safety, or any of several other subject areas?

If you can clarify your question you will probably get more useful answers. Your alternative is to start with a trip to the library. Ask the librarian the exact same question, and the librarian will probably be able to help you.

You could also try an internet search on "nuclear technology."

One snap answer occurs to me as being what you may be fishing for. There are two basic types of stationary nuclear reactors for power production, called "boiling water reactors" and "pressure water reactors." The first land-based nuclear power plants were boiling water, and the more modern plants are pressure water reactors.

For information, try a library search or an internet search on "nuclear reactor types."

Good luck.
