University Of Texas Or Georgia Institute of Technology?

I got into both of these universities...i don't know which one is better
please help me decide!!!
PS: i want to major in engineering...i checked the US NEWS Rankings and they were both in the top 10 next to each other...
i forgot to mention it was UT at Austin

I would say go to UT Austin because of nae recognition and it being constantly ranked among one of the best schools in the nation. With that being said you have to decide for yourself and look at all of the factors that matter to you the most.

Just my 2 cents and congrats for being accepted to both schools.

wow i have the same problem, except for me its w/ ut austin and cornell (and $$ issues)...
i'd say go to ut austin. awesome weather, and just in case you decide in the future that engineering is not your forte, UT austin is great for other majors as well.

Not that Gtech isn't, but it seems to me that it's a more engineering-oriented school.

Apply to the University of Illinois! They have one of the best engineering schools in the country and I'm going there next year!
