| his pain is gone, but he still acts embarrassed around me....what should i do?
here the facts:
in selfdefense class, me & my son (17) had to hold each other by the arms and get free. he was kicking my shins, so i raised my leg and swung my foot up between his legs (before class, i gave him protection devices and said they were NECESSARY and REQUIRED). he didn’t move, so i kicked a second time. he doubled over and started to moan, and i realized he wasn’t wearing a cup. i went down to him and started to apologize like crazy and tried to comfort him. me and my sister, who was there too, then helped him up and led him to the locker room. after some time he said the pain was going up into his stomach, and then he even went to the toilette and vomitted! i felt really horrible!
later i took him to the doctor. she said it's a "slight testicular rupture" on both, and a swelling of the "tunica albuginea" (the covering of the testes) which causes him a "throbbing-like pain". but it would heal by itself and there will be no permanent demage. a week later he was fine.
