How many movie theaters and movie screens do you have in your city or town?

In my town of 10,000 we have two movie theaters,We have six movie screens total. One movie theater that has stadium seating. it has 5 screens. The other movie theater only has1 screen. It shows movies for $2. It's our second run movie theater.

Admission to the movie theater with 5 screens is $6.50 for adults and $4.00 for kids. But one Tuesday nights they have certain movies for $4. They only show matinees during Saturday only. I'm not sure about summer movies yets, but last summer they only showed matinees on Tuesday only.

The Burley Theatre shows second run movies like National Treasure 2: Books of Secrets. It has only 1 sceen. Also no matinées either. It's closed on Wednesday and Thursday. The other movie theater is open every day of the year(minus Thanksgiving).

How many movie theaters and movie screens do you have where you live? How much do they cost to go to the movies?Food prices?

The link to my movie theaters is below.

My town has about 55,000 according to the last census taken. We have two theaters. A Malco and a Hollywood. Malco bought the Hollywood out and since then it sucks. The Malco needs to be shut down. Half the speakers do not work, the roof leaks when it rains, half the seats are broken and they are charging 8 bucks to see a film. It is pathetic. There was rumor of a Cineplex coming in but that was blocked by the Malco owners. They really have a monopoly on it. The next best theater is about 30 minutes away but they only show three or four movies. I could drive an hour to Memphis and see movies at The Peabody Place Movie Theater. It is worth the drive for stadium seats and decent pictures. Plus if people get unruly the security comes and escorts then out.
