do you think acting coy is "cute" ? or gets people curious or interested?

for example: let's say your birthday was coming up, and a girl you sort of like told you happy birthday a few days ahead of time, and she said,"it's today right?", would it make her wonder about you if you just said "no" coyly??

that happened to me....
the girl did that and i just said "nope, thanks though"

what do you think she thinks of that...in general, what do you think of acting coy? is it cute?
it WASN'T my birthday. she told me a few days early.
i wasn't lying....my bday was 3 days later.

but i was being coy by not correcting her. i just said, "No"

Coy is not the same as just stupid. Maybe check your dictionary. Spending time playing games is always a turn off... why would you lie when it is your birthday.

You closed yourself off to a whole conversation by answering with a lie.

It matters if that other person thinks its cute. I don't think it is. It's better if they know and say it on the day..cuz that's when you feel good that it's actually ur bday and nobody is echoing that fact days later
