Does your ACT score expire after a certain number of years?

I took the ACT in February of 2005 and got a 22. I graduated May of 2006 and haven't yet gone to college. I'm thinking of going soon. Someone told me that once 2 years have passed since you last took the ACT, your score is no longer good. I resigned up for the test this June, but can I give my old score to the school I'm thinking of attending? Does anyone know anything about this?
