| would studying for the SAT math 2 subject test be enough to help me on the
math part of the ACT? i understand the format is different for the two but because the sat math 2 subject test is harder would it help on the ACT or is it better to study ACT math just for the ACT?

why wouldn't you just study the math ACT? i don't understand your reasoning here. if you are taking the sat math 2 you probably don't have much to worry about on standard tests like the sat and act though (assuming you are attempting to get into an engineering program i would imagine you would be more than comfortable with the math on the act).
