Which is the better of the best Home Theater A/V Receiver (7.1 channel)?

Ok I've been looking for the best receivers and found 2 that sparked my interest. But the thing is I don't know which is better. Can either one support 2 sub woofers? Which one has more power & better sound?

number one, in order to answer the part about supporting two woofers, i need to know what amps you're talking about. as far as receivers are concerned i would recommend you to look into Panasonic's line of digital A/V receivers. even though i've never personally heard any of their 7.1 receivers, i have the sa-xr55 receiver which is 6.1. i've had it for over a year and the only complaint i have is the remote, you can't change sound setting from the remote, it needs to be done from the receiver itself. every review i've ever found praised these little receivers (except of course rich bastards who regret their decision to spend $500 on a receiver instead of $6,000) and i've been blown away by the sound of my receiver.
