| how do movie theaters get there popcorn so good?
I was the manager of a drive-in theater so I know what I'm talking about here. The yellow gunk that goes ontop of your popcorn is NOT butter. It's a canola oil with salt and other flavoring. They don't even claim butter as an ingrediant. Night after night of smelling that crap will definitely put you off popcorn. There's only three ways that I know to fix popcorn, and that's fried in some sort of oil, air-popped, or microwaved. Theaters fry popcorn and the oil before it's heated is an dark orange sludge
