| Do single men still act like they are in high school when it comes to women? Do they find it more difficult to express themselves with a female they really like? I'm going through this now. He said he REALLY likes me but has been doing stupid (not awful) things to sabotage our relationship. I finally said we should just be friends, but I want him to be my husband. Besides being a creep about moving the relationship to something serious, he's great in every other way. He is sweet, kind, giving, easy-going, smart, funny, and supportive of everything I do. Now, we're not together. He says he would like to see me, but I just said sure, maybe. Now, he tells me he has a really nice girlfriend. Geez, I know how pathetic this sounds. I would give the advice to drop him, but I know he would be a great husband if he could just grow up in this one area. I do love him - he just does not know how to step things up. How does a man get this way? Hurt, broken heart, overly domineering mother?
Is there anyway to fix this? |
