| Do you remember the very first movie you saw in a theater or drive in?
The first one I remember was West Side Story. It was in 1961, I was only 7, and my 18 yr old cousin took me to the drive in with her. I was bored out of my mind, but do remember parts of the movie. I was too young and it didn't interest me, but I didn't care, I was excited to go to the drive in, as I had never been before. I was there for the popcorn! lol b_friske, that happened to me in the same scene of Born Free. I never cried in front of my mother other than if she spanked me. When we were at the drive it watching Born Free, I busted out balling. I felt foolish, but that scene really touched me. ahh yes, just a dude, I remember well wearing pjs to the drive in, and taking our pillow, ready for bed when we got home.       |
