Why is my cat acting up?

Why does my cat like pooping on the corner of her litter box and yet she does not use the litter. She just started this recently, before she never had this problem. she only likes Fresh step crystal litter, she cannot use the clay litter, avoids it like the plague. What can i do to stop this?
