I'm sick of my stepsister acting all smug?

I'm 17 & my stepsister is 16. While we get along most of the time, I feel like I put way too much energy into being nice to her when she can be downright rude to me. She has a boyfriend and I don't, she has a job and I don't (I quit my job to study more, I've since applied for more jobs, but haven't been called back for an interview for ANY of them. and it's become a joke in my household.)
Whenever we have a fight, she subtely makes jokes about how I don't have a boyfriend or a job. Usually the fights start when I jokingly, in a completely harmless and nice way, say something about her boyfriend. She then accuses me of being jealous. I usually end up forgiving her because I genuinely want to get along with her. But it always happens again.


I don't have a casual job and therefore I have NO money to go out. My dad isn't much help because we're having financial difficulties. What can I do to make her stop being so smug? I think she should respect me.
