Why is he acting so dumb?

If you and your ex decided to put aside the feelings you have for each other and try to be friends and then two days later he seems to want nothing to do with you and seems to get annoyed whenever you try to talk to him what would you do? This is how it was before we both admitted still having feelings and I don't know why he's doing this and it makes me even more mad because I'm trying really hard to make this whole thing work.
