Why does she act like this?

Well today, I was at work with a girl I sort of like still have mixed feelings about her. I was flirting with her and all she was flirting back and everything and we were joking with each other, she was enjoying it. When we kept flirting, she asked me if I had a girlfriend and I said no not yet, then she said she had a boyfriend for 1 year and 3 months(3 months ago she said she had 2 months with him) So I was like hmm she said they had 2-3 months last time. Not only that but he lives far from her. She also asked me if I worked at the same time as her tomorrow and I said no I don't and she was like aww damn for real. So my question is why was she upset that I didn't work at the same time as her tomorrow and why did she ask me if I had a girlfriend? and I also don't mind asking her out, I've come to convince myself that if a girl isn't married she is still single in my eyes.
