my dog has colitis.........the meds seemed to b working,but now shes acting

a bit consipated again.. does? anyone have a dog that has or had this an what did u do?? i've heard brown rice an biled chicken works.............can someone help me ?????!!!!!!!! i'm so scared for her,an i don't know if i should change vets when she had inproved 95% with this one.
