Will an tubal pregnancy act like a normal pregnancy?

I have read that a tubal pregnancy is just like a normal one, meaning it shows the same symptoms at first. And it shows on a pregnancy test. I guess when one becomes supicious of this type of pregnancy is if the woman becomes very ill with very bad admominal pain. I have also read you can get bad pains in your neck and back. They can be dangerous so if you think you have one, call your dr.

Yes, a tubal pregnancy has the same symptoms as a regular pregnancy. If you are experiencing ANY pain in your lower abdomen you need to go in to the Dr. right away, just to make sure it isn't a tubal. Some bleeding or spotting may also accompany a tubal, but not always.

I had both symptoms when I was 2 weeks late for my period & had confirmed my pregnancy via an at-home test. I called my Dr. who brought me in the same day & did an ultrasound, just to ensure it wasn't a tubal. (It wasn't) It's pretty serious if it is one, please call your Dr. right away.
