| What do you call the space between hallway doors and theater doors in a movie...
...theater? I'm working on a project that involves designing a movie theater, and I'd like to know what to call the space. For example, when you're in the hallway getting ready to enter the theater that's showing your movie, you enter one set of doors into a dim corridor, then another set of doors into the theater proper. Is there a specific name for that short corridor?
