Are Outside Foods allowed in Movie Theaters?

I always bring my own snacks to the movies. Saves a bunch of money. I just stick some beverage and popcorn and maybe a sweet treat into a shoulder bag. I've never run into problems since theaters in my area do not search bags. There's no rule that say you much by your treats at the movie theater.

Outside foods or drinks aren't allowed in movie theatres. However, some people do hide food in jackets or purses.

No...yea it sucks but u can sneak it in....get a chick to carry a big purrs or something and they wont check it!!

I think it depends on the theater. I've noticed that theaters in major shopping centers allow outside food. They never care when I stroll through with my Starbucks cup in hand.

I have always had something I brought along in my purse. Lots cheaper. I was just descreet about it. But never able to get drink inside.

when there is theatre in a mall usually they dont mind. I know their food isnt the healthiest so i bring my own food and say "special diet" and they dont say anyhting

No, but I usually sneak something in. There candy is so freakin expensive. I wish I could bring real food in there like tacos, Chinese, etc.

some people just dont care,
but they usually stop you if they see anything.
if your theatres in a mall, bring a shopping bag, and put food in it, they're not going check that.
or a purse.
or a coat.
or anything of such sort.
i smuggle in tacos all the time.

Depends on the theatre but i find the general rule is nothing hot from outside because the smell/aroma can be offputting to other people. But I'll happily sneak in a bag of chips or sweets, chocolates and a drink if I can. The only time I've been baled up is with hot food.
