best friend is acting weird?

i don't have so many friends, and now my best friend is acting weird.

she calls me to hang out but when i see her (we live 2 blocks away) she acts as if she does not want to see me. sometimes i call her but i have tried to stop calling her to test whether its because she does not like me. but she keeps calling.

also, im really insecure (i know - weird thign to say about yourself) and sometimes i really need to tell her things but she does not want to listen.

BUT she is really confusing because she always asks to hang out.

what should i do???????

the next time she asks you, say that you can't.
it sounds like she knows that you're always at her beck and call to hang out (i can relate). so next time suprise her by saying no, and show that you have your own mind and you're not at someones beck and call. hopefully she comes around! good luck

The same thing has happened to me. I just wouldn't hang out with her anymore. Whenever that happens to me I end up getting made fun by a couple of people.

i think she's just afraid of being alone.
