forth, not fourth ;-)

and you can use several learning tools like:

flash cards

mnemonic devices (like Many Very Elegant Mothers Just Spit Up New Pus...for remembering the planets (mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune, pluto...although pluto doesn't technically count anymore)
It can be something funny that helps you remember the order of something..

It also helps to play a game with a friend...like first one to write down 10 amino acids gets a cookie...

Keep in mind that more sleep and less alcohol also helps the brain ;-)

Finally, take things in small chunks and don't put off anything until the last minute.
