That is it. Maja P. Gregory Peck in "Roman Holiday".
Thank you, it was driving me crazy. I thought it was Cary Grant or Rock Hudson.

Nightside has a spectacular aura about
the same thing happened in "Flash Gordon"(1980), the movie starring Sam Jones. It happens in a part where Flash is forced to take the test Arborean's take for manhood. Your supposed to stick your hand in a big, hollowed out rock where a highly poisonous creature lives. There are many holes to pick from so you take your chances. Any way, the leader of the Arboreans makes Flash challenge him in sticking their hands in multiple times. Flash sticks his hand in and fakes being stung and makes the Arboreans drop their guard. He picks his moment to escape and says something like, "Tricked you Baron". I'm hoping this is what your thinking of and if it is, it's nice to know I'm not the only one to remember this.

When asking a trivia question, it's best not to give the answer in the question, kinda defeats the purpose.

"In the most recent National Treasure movie..."

National Treasure: Book of Secrets
