am I liable for interior paint work done over a year ago?

I did this interior paint job(walls&trim) over a year ago and now they are telling me they have a problem.Am I liable?

Well.. it all depends.
If the paint is peeling everywhere, you could be liable simply because that type of problem is most likely caused by not prepping the surface correctly.
But if the problem is not as obvious, they'll have a hard time holding your responsible since quite a bit of time has passed already.
It also depends on whether the job was on the books or not..

do you feel you are responsible? Repeat customers is the best way to grow a business. If you repair the problem, I assure you that if they ever need painting again, or any one they know needs painting, they will call you, if you fix it. Measure what the cost for you to repair it is, and decide if its worth your reputation to repair it. Let your conciense be your guide. I would repair it if it wasn't abuse
