i can draw, i like interesting drawings though. not like usual people, but strange shapes and things. neckface for example, i've drawn it several times. problem is i'm kind of not in the mindset of drawing, and i don't really have enough originiality. when i want to draw something i need to print it off, then copy it. its not that i can't draw, its that i'm not freehand enough and can't think of strange ideas. anything to do? because i really want to take art more seriously.

try to create your own characters, then every time you draw them, some how improve them, make them your own. It might look very generic at first, but then give it some personal traits, maybe some sort of personality, and then you'll come up with your own characters. It's a skill you have to develop and don't be dependent on other peoples drawings.. Dont get discouraged if your first couple of sketches/drawings look HORRIFIC.. artists start out somewhere, ykno? Just continue to develop and change your styles in different sketches and keep the most interesting. Try staying creative. Dont be discouraged. Hope you enjoy doing this.
