Pig Drawing?

Hey, wy art syle is like this:

...because I drew that. Can anyone give me drawing tips, because I'm still in the works, and I aspire to one day actually draw something realistic. If my drawing looks like crap, please tell me so No one's really been truthful about my art. People hate, but my friends/family say I draw good, so who's right?
