| Question on painting technique? I have been trying to figure out what to do with my walls for quite some time, but when I saw this picture online i realized exactly what i want to do. Its a kind of natural looking gray that I'm not sure at all how to accomplish on my own. I was wondering if anyone knew of a special technique i could use to accomplish the look. This site has the picture: http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/ProductsHOM.aspx?DeptID=25436&CatID=51819&CatTyp=D EP&ItemTyp=C&GrpTyp=ENS&ItemID=12d6466&ProdSeq=13& Cat=casual&Dep=Bedding+%2b+Bath&PCat=comforters&PC atID=29094&RefPage=ProductList&Sale=&ProdCount=41& RecPtr=&ShowMenu=&TTYP=&ShopBy=0&RefPageName=Categ oryAll%252Easpx&RefCatID=29094&RefDeptID=25436&Pag e=2&CmCatId=EXTERNAL|51819 (Its the walls behind the comforter, which can be seen much more easily in the larger image view) |

| It looks like it was done with a soft cloth technique. I have done this before. Paint your wall in a medium gray. When dry take a lighter gray color and something called glazing medium. 1to1, and with an old t shirt rolled in a ball dip it in and swirl it on the wall. It takes practice but it comes out very soft and textured. There are how to books available at home improvement stores. It is fun to do. |
