Art school?

I really like visual arts. Despite being natural dancer, I really like drawing. My parents always forced music on me, but I never really went far with it, wasting years and money, along with lots of frustration. I've always been fascinated by film and animation and am now really interested in perhaps carrying it out a little further. I am drawing frequently now, and in a matter of weeks, my friends have noticed a difference in how fast I've progressed. However, since I'm going to college next year, I realised lots of art colleges and university require portfolios and the such. I've got good grades to get into good universities, but I really don't have a portfolio. What should I do? I want to one day work at pixar or with disney, but what should i do?

I recommend you investigate Academy of Art University's Animation School. http://www.academyart.edu/animation-school/index.htmlThey offer an excellent on campus program and an online animation program for more flexibility. Their graduates definitely go on to Pixar, Disney, and the other major studios.Check out their portfolio options - and Good Luck!
