how do you get rid of stage fright fast?

You're gonna screw up sooner or later. The best thing is to get practice screwing up, so it doesn't bother you.Take a class in song improv. That will get you used to singing in front of groups where you will need to be loud and spontaneous. Improv will also help for your drama auditions.Break a leg!

how young is young because alcohol is my first and best suggestion. Do something crazy the night before, like eat lots of sugar and go to mcdonalds on a dare and sing your order to the employee. Drink red bull or something before your performance. The morning of your performance you should go for a job or some form of excercise because that should give you all the endorphines you need.

Well congratz on the acceptance. Here's what I used to do,I perform on stage often and these techniques always worked for me.First of all, make sure you know the material you are performing like the back of your hand. Always know it before you perform.Take deep breaths before starting. Acting overly-confident always helped me for some reason. Even if your gut is telling that you're totally going to bomb this, give the impression that you have all the confidence in the world, and keep telling yourself that repeatedly. And if it helps at all, close your eyes, pretend that you're just back in your bedroom, singing in front of the mirror like you always do.Good luck!

A few deep breathing exercises right before you go on stage will help...Mentally envision yourself singing at the skill level you know you have. Don't try to mimic other singers, be yourself. After all, you got accepted to this school so you must have some real talent...Good luck!
