My living room is painted in white, Merlot and a tannish gold.?

My kitchen is next to the living room, and only has a small wall dividing the two rooms. My cabinets and counter tops will be white, What other paint colors should I use in my kitchen?

Since you will have a lot of white, take a look at the colors of your other things, i.e. hot plates, dish towels, etc. and pick a soft color from the most prominent. Of course you can always change your towels and stuff and go from there.
