theGeminiWolf.com has a spectacular aura about
drawing style and models?

Ok, a couple of questions.

1) Will I always need to use my pencil to get proportion when drawing? I haven't drawn any models, but have drawn my portrait and other still life and I use the pencil to measure to make sure my proportions are correct. Will I need this if I do start drawing full body postures?

2) About a person's drawing style. Is a style something you develop because you enjoy what is created. Or is it possible to develop "your style" and not be happy with it. I like what I see in other people's artwork, and sometimes draw that to get some practice, and I vary it with different artists.
When I look at some of the work I've done I haven't been happy with it. Will my practice, and my basis of what I enjoy turn into a style that I actually like?
