Where do you draw the line when it comes to metal music?

I like to listen to a lot of heavy metal and i love the riffs and screams, but i wonder where most metal fans draw the line. for me i don't think i'd listen to satanic bands that are completly obvious of trying to spread satanic views. that's about it, the rest of metal kicks a$$!!
