| Why do so many parents take the long drawn out way over so many things? I see so many questions on here, and I hear a lot in real life also, about picky eaters, fussy sleepers, tantrums, etc. Now all kids have their moments, sure, and I know it's not easy, but I can't believe how many parents seem afraid to put their foot down! Am I the only mom left who thinks that if kids don't want to eat their dinner, then too bad, they go hungry until the next meal? Or if a 2 year old is yelling during the night because they want to get up they need to be told firmly to go back to sleep and stop the nonsense? I can't believe how much time and energy so many parents waste in pandering to their children. Anyone agree or is it just me?      |
