Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2?

Will Corel/are Corelplanning to relase this on Mac?

I want to buy a new Mac for its stable OS. However, PSP is only available on Windows.

Since Painter and other Corel packages are also on Mac, why do they not relase PSP on Mac. I know that Elements and CS£ are on Mac, but why not introduce it to people who cannot afford such professional packages, but still have the creative enquiry and skills?

I agree that they should release a mac version of the program, because I know I will be missing it greatly when I get my mac. However, I wouldn't count on them releasing a mac version anytime soon. As far as I know, Corel/Jasc hasn't released a mac version of the program to date.

If you're buying a new brand new mac with OS X Leopard, though, you can run bootcamp and install a version of Windows XP to run side by side with Leopard, which you can then install paint shop pro. It is a pricey option, but probably still a lot cheaper then shelling out $700 for Adobe Photoshop (or however much it costs... excellent program if you can afford it).
